Australian Artists Residency Program for the 30th Kaldor Public Art Project:
Marina Abramović: In Residence
As part of the 30th Kaldor Public Art Project, Marina Abramović: In Residence, 12 Australian performance practitioners (including myself and creative partner Roslyn Helper aka zin) participated in an intensive Artists Residency Program under the guidance of Marina Abramović. Living upstairs at Pier 2/3 for two weeks, we had the opportunity to explore the "Marina Abramović Method" and develop our own performative practice through research, workshops, discussion and debate.
During the residency we developed and presented a number of new performance ideas which we are continuing to work on post-residency.
